Unchained passion: We have once again transferred all the experience we gained from the racetracks to the RR’s high-performance BMW ShiftCam four-cylinder engine. The engine now reaches a total of 210 hp (154 kW) with 3 hp more. The air intake hole taken from the M RR model ensures a particularly good air supply and better load exchange. Cylinder head with new channel geometry and reinforced bearing brackets also come from the M RR model. We’ve also improved the standard Pro shift assistant. The system now allows gear changes with excessive upshifts and excessive downshifts, and enables improved load shift damping for greater shifting precision. The chain ring now also has more teeth; just like the M RR model, it directly provides more power with 46 teeth instead of 45.
